As a Technical Writer, you’ll take on the following responsibilities:
- Creating clear and concise documentation for new and updated products and features.
- Updating technical, developer-focused documentation about integrating with our API, SDKs, best practices and sample code.
- Building and maintaining our end-user focused KnowledgeBase, helping our customers to find self-service answers to their questions.
- Working with our Professional Services, Product, and Engineering teams to capture the specifications of our products and the crucial information our customers need.
- Maintaining a consistent voice and tone across our documentation.
To thrive in the role as a Technical Writer, you’ll need:
- Excellent written and spoken English, very good written and spoken German.
- The ability to describe complex technical concepts in clear, consistent and user-friendly ways.
- Experience with documentation, support and agile process tools – such as Confluence, Jira, Markdown, Apiary, Postman, ZenDesk.
- Familiarity with the processes involved in creating SaaS solutions in an agile company.
These additional skills are bonus:
- Experience of one or more programming languages – such as Java, PHP, JavaScript, Python.
